My main research interest is developing novel techniques for biomedical image analysis.

I received my PhD in applied mathematics and computer science from Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, in May 2007, where I worked on multiscale segmentation and classification of MRI focusing on Brain Imaging. I hold a BSc in physics and computer science and an MSc in computer science from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

I did my post-doctoral research as a fellow in the Computational Radiology Laboratory at Childrens Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School mentored by Dr. Simon Warfield, focusing on development of registration algorithms for petascale analysis of neural circuits with application to electron microscopy data.

For the last few years I have been a constultant in the group of Prof. Michal Neeman working on preclinical imaging. I was also fortunate to gain experience in industry where I recently lead a team of image analysis experts working on complex general computer vision problems. Before that I worked as a medical imaging expert at Aposense, collaborating with Uppsala Imanet, GE-healthcare developping computational algorithms aimed at optimizing the utility of a novel radiotracer for PET imaging of apoptosis in various clinical applications.
